- Tower Records Piccadilly circus (and elsewhere) London UK
Situated next to Piccadilly circus - you can't miss it!
This store is mainly a record/CD store but also stocks a wide range of films, DVD and current magazines.
I have on occasion seen EB sound tracks (Une Femme Francaise) but they currently don't seem to have any (although they would probably order for you). I often go here to check out the more obscure film magazines such as Hollywood reporter (lists all films in pre-production and production around the world).
- Virgin Megastores Everywhere UK/ France
These stores have almost all the newish videos and soundtracks available, and should be your first port of call if you are looking for a recent EB film such as Nelly et M. Arnaud. The main UK shops are on Oxford Street, London. They both have regional stores in most UK cities, you may have to order the films you want, as the regional shops rarely stock many films from the WORLD CINEMA Section.

UACC Registered Dealer No. 85. This company attend many of the UK film fairs. I have purchased two autograph from them, which you can see elsewhere on the web site. One of the autographs I bought (£40) was also being sold by Fraser's for around £100. Apparently they even supply Fraser's on occasion. They should be your first port of call in the UK for Autographs as they are cheaper than Frasers, not having the overheads of a shop on the strand and have had some good autographs in the past.
- Fraser's The Strand London UK
Web Site: http://www.stangib.com/frasers/main.html
I popped in yesterday (December 11th 1997) and they had two pics both at £125 autographed and guaranteed.
One is on the web site (the other is a recent acquisition and not a good pic in my opinion). You can also get their mail order catalogue. They also buy! But if it is Emmanuelle Beart ask me first (cut out the middle man!)

- The Vintage Magazine Company Soho London UK
I think that's the name :) It is in the west end of Soho. Upstairs they have popular film stuff - X-files, pictures of popular people, popular posters and other memorabilia. Downstairs is a more specialist area. The bulk of which consists of magazines (including non film magazines). Unfortunately it is very disorganised, and the magazines are not in date order so finding anything is difficult. (I must have spent 5 hours searching through there one day). Likewise they have a disorganised filing cabinet or two of press packs and front of house sets. They also have posters, they have some books with photographs of their posters in alphabetical order.
Currently in stock:
( January 99): Posters around £12:
Un Coeur en Hiver
L' Enfer
- The Cinema Store Covent garden London UK
It is actually 2 shops next to each other and is situated off to the east of charring cross road, towards Covent garden near the "Mousetrap" and "Stringfellows". I'll try and find the address.
It stocks lots of magazines, back issues, posters, videos, sound tracks, lobby cards, laser disks and DVD. Occasionally EB stuff crops up there, mainly in the magazine section. They also do second hand videos, and have a foreign films section.
Film Fairs:
Film fairs are regularly held across London, in Camden, Westminster
and Russell Square. For details of film fairs near you I suggest
you read the last few pages of a film magazine such as Empire. I am happy to list
details of any film fairs if you email them to me.
At a film fair you can expect to be able to buy, sell, swap, barter or browse, things
such as:
- Posters
- Stills
- Soundtracks
- Books
- Magazines
- Scrapbooks
- Autographs
- 8mm Films
- Video films
- Vintage cinema items
- Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror.
I attend most of these film fairs so if you want to meet up before (or after for a
drink) let me know.
